Privacy
Short version: this site keeps almost nothing about you, and what it does keep, you can ask me to delete.
Visits
I use GoatCounter to count page views and a handful of clicks (for example, how many people tap through to Substack or the App Store). It sets no cookies, doesn't store your IP address, and can't identify you personally — which is why there's no cookie banner here.
The three forms
The three forms on this site are handled by Formspree, which emails me what you submit:
- Reflect with me stores your message, the topic you picked, your email address, and your first name if you gave one. I use it only to read what you wrote and reply to you. It is never shared or published.
- The free chapter stores your email address so I can send you the PDF. It doesn't subscribe you to anything.
- Invite me to speak stores your name, email address, organization, event date and message. I use it only to read your invitation and reply. It is never shared or published.
Each submission also records which page it came from and how you arrived at the site, so I can tell where readers find me.
Newsletter
The email signup form on this site hands your address to Substack, where you confirm the subscription. Substack holds it under its own privacy policy, and every email has an unsubscribe link. This site only counts that a signup was started, not the address itself.
Asking for deletion
Email me at bccody910@gmail.com and I'll delete anything you've sent. If you'd rather not email, replying to any message you've had from me works too, and the Reflect form reaches me as well.
