I'm Blake Cody — writing my way through it in public
I live in Michigan, I'm in my early twenties, and I write. Most weeks there's a new essay on discipline, love and living with intention — honest thoughts and lessons pulled straight from my own life, shared in the hope that they might help someone out.
Alongside the essays I'm writing my first book, Aligned: Lead with Love, Live with Intention — a field guide for rebuilding after heartbreak. The opening chapter is free to read. I'm figuring all of this out in real time and writing down what's working and what isn't as I go.
I also built My JRNL, a journaling and habits app that's live on the App Store. It started as the daily habit that kept me steady, and I made it because I wanted something simpler than what was out there.
One day I want to be an author and a coach for life and relationships: someone who helps people work through what they're carrying and build a life that actually feels like their own. That's already started, in a small way — if something's on your mind, you can write to me and I'll reply personally.
Everything I write is free to read here, and if you'd like it in your inbox, the newsletter signup is at the bottom of this page.
